But you're right, the world building is really good and interesting :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07160640273010325793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2142613573995648845.post-224815382303539382012-02-23T12:55:14.793+02:002012-02-23T12:55:14.793+02:00What I like about dystophia books is the different...What I like about dystophia books is the different world. The world is so different from ours, but most of the times so realistically written it almost seems real or even possible. I like seeing how the characters live and act in such a world. But that's my opinion, I just really love the world building part of dystophia books.Lolitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08688460240998695358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2142613573995648845.post-3157396080365442822012-02-23T12:29:42.468+02:002012-02-23T12:29:42.468+02:00I had to read "Brave New World" for scho...I had to read "Brave New World" for school and I can't say that I liked it. More honestly - I didn't. I was stunned by it. I was embarrassed by it. But I also understood what the author meant about the influence of utopian societies. <br />Thanks for commenting :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07160640273010325793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2142613573995648845.post-17805532187838887012012-02-23T11:35:22.481+02:002012-02-23T11:35:22.481+02:00I like your theory! I like the way dystopian novels warn us about the consequences of so-called Utopias. Ultimately, there can be no such thing because humanity is diverse. There is no one perfect world, so any utopia is essentially a dystopia to most people. I hope this is making sense. I've actually just reviewed a dystopian novel on my blog. It's called 'Dragon's Teeth' by Suzanne Van Rooyen. I really enjoyed it. It has a very cool MC called Cyrus :)Aderyn Woodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00915864812565971753noreply@blogger.com
